Summer is here! There is no better time than now to refresh your home. Today we are sharing 5 ways to revitalize your home for the summer months. Implementing any or all of these tips will swiftly transition your home into summer mode. Let’s get into it!


1. Organize + Declutter


Peter Walsh says "clutter is not just the stuff on your floor, it’s anything that stands between you and the life you want to be living.” Organizing and decluttering is the perfect way to start your summer refresh. This will help to provide more space throughout your home, influence lower stress levels, increase your productivity, and provide with an overall sense of peace.


2. Rearrange Furniture


Rearranging furniture is great way to quickly give your home a new look! Changing the layout of your space gives you the freedom to creatively change things that align with your preferred aesthetics and functionality. Moving and arranging furniture can immensely change the look and feel of your space, without spending a dime!

3. Incorporate Seasonal Plants


Introducing fresh greenery is a great way to make spaces feel more appealing and alive. Flowers and plants give off a natural odor and scent, boosting the summer smell in your home. Tropical plants and bright, vibrant florals are a perfect look for summer. If you struggle keeping greenery and flowers alive, faux flowers and succulents are excellent alternatives.


4. Swap Out Neutrals to Brighter Colors


Incorporating vibrant accent colors add energy and liveliness to your spaces. There are numerous ways to introduce accent colors such as in wall art, colorful rugs, bold patterns, or even a fresh coat of paint on the wall. Start with simply swapping out or adding in a few colored throw pillows and watch your space come to life!



5. Bring In Nature Elements


Adding a elements from nature inside allows you to enjoy some of the beauty of the outdoors without even having to walk out the door. Adding items such as wood furniture, candles, woven baskets, jute rugs, plants + florals, and wooden frames will give those amazing outdoor nature vibes throughout your home.
